Photo: file:///C:/Users/laptop/Desktop/jesusfeedsmysoul-c-s-lewis.htm | Today has brought a new realization. Inspiration comes in so many wonderful forms. You can't force it. The feeling of inspiration after four long months of writers block is the most freeing and incredible feeling I have ever had. This past week I have started to see why I started writing in the first place. It was the little things that happened in the past week that gave me the inspiration. I can't pin down the exact moment. It might have been listening to a guy play his guitar for an audience of five at two in the morning. Or wandering around London for the second time and catching a glimpse of its charm and beauty. Or it could have been going to a class that forces me to write poems and makes me step out of my comfort zone. It might have been going to a church last night where the people welcomed me in and treated me as if they had known me my whole life. This place is starting to feel like home. In the past week I have learned that I can't run away from my problems. I can't run away from anything. I can only run towards something that is bigger than myself and bigger than this world. I just have to keep running towards God. All of this inspiration has come from Him. It's the most incredible feeling knowing that God will provide; all I have to do is be patient. |

So summer is in full swing and as the days get hotter I find myself putting the final touches on my travel plans! I have this list of things that I want to get before I leave it is ever growing, but at the same time it seems to be getting smaller as I mark things off of it! Crossing things off a list is the greatest feeling in the world! I'm starting to work on a packing list, and as I get the things I need I'm going to pack my bags and make sure everything fits the way it should so that way when the day comes I will not have to worry about if I have forgotten anything or if it will all fit in my suitcases! I found a job for the summer so that way I can go on the adventures I want to while I am in the UK! I'm praying everything goes smoothly this summer so that this next semester will be everything I've dreamed it to be and more!! I am still so excited for this incredible journey!! Only 3 months and 5 days until I leave on that big jet plane for the semester of my life!!
Hello! So I have recently decided to start a blog about my time abroad. Let me just start out by saying this whole thing is insane to me. I honestly cannot believe I have the opportunity to study abroad in Colchester, England for a whole stinking semester!! I am seriously so excited! Throughout the summer and upcoming semester I will be posting on a regular bases so that I can share all of the adventures I am getting to go on! It is so incredible! I can't wait to tell you all about it!
